1. Introduction
Breaking Studio Srl (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, store, and protect data in connection with the VR game Shotgun Sport, available on the Meta Store for Meta Quest devices.
Shotgun Sport is designed to minimize data collection. We only access or process user data when necessary to provide the game’s core functionality, platform features, user support, or to comply with applicable legal obligations.
2. Data We May Access or Process
Shotgun Sport may access or process the following types of data through Meta Horizon and Meta Quest platform features.
2.1 Meta Horizon User ID
Shotgun Sport may access the Meta Horizon User ID when required for Meta platform functionality, including Meta leaderboards, entitlement verification, score association, user support, and leaderboard data deletion requests.
The Meta Horizon User ID is used only to associate gameplay-related data, such as leaderboard scores, with the correct Meta Horizon user account, verify the user’s entitlement to access the app where required by Meta platform services, and process support or deletion requests related to that data.
2.2 Meta Horizon Profile Information
Shotgun Sport uses Meta’s native platform infrastructure to provide global and friend leaderboard functionality.
To display leaderboard entries and player-related information, the game may access basic Meta Horizon profile information, such as the user’s Meta Horizon username and avatar or profile image.
This information is used only to display player-related information within the game and to personalize leaderboard-related features.
2.3 Gameplay Data
Shotgun Sport may process gameplay-related data, including scores, leaderboard entries, game progress, preferences, settings, achievements, and other gameplay statistics.
This data is used to provide gameplay features, save progress, display scores, manage leaderboard functionality, improve the user experience, and respond to user support or deletion requests.
2.4 Local Storage
Shotgun Sport may store certain data locally on the user’s Meta Quest device, such as game settings, preferences, progress, achievements, and local save data.
Breaking Studio Srl does not operate private external servers to collect, store, or track Meta Horizon user data for Shotgun Sport.
Shotgun Sport does not use Meta Cloud Storage or external cloud storage services operated by Breaking Studio Srl.
2.5 Device User Data and Sensitive Data
Shotgun Sport does not intentionally collect or process biometric data, microphone recordings, camera data, eye tracking data, face tracking data, body tracking data, hand tracking data, precise physical location, or other sensitive device user data.
If any device-level data is processed by Meta Quest or Meta Horizon platform services, such processing is governed by Meta’s applicable privacy policies and platform terms.
3. How We Use Data
We use the data described in this Privacy Policy only for the following purposes:
- to provide and operate Shotgun Sport;
- to identify the correct Meta Horizon user account for gameplay-related features;
- to enable leaderboards and score association;
- to save local game progress, settings, preferences, and achievements on the user’s device;
- to verify entitlement or access to the app where required by Meta platform services;
- to provide user support;
- to process data deletion or privacy-related requests;
- to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or valid legal requests.
- We do not use Meta Horizon user data for advertising purposes.
We do not sell Meta Horizon user data.
4. Third-Party Services
Shotgun Sport operates on the Meta Quest and Meta Horizon platform.
Certain features, such as Meta leaderboards, entitlement verification, user profile information, and platform account functionality, may be provided through Meta’s native platform services.
Your use of Shotgun Sport on Meta Quest is also subject to Meta’s applicable privacy policies, terms, and platform rules, including Meta’s privacy policies for Meta Quest and Meta Horizon services.
Breaking Studio Srl does not operate external analytics, advertising, or tracking services for Shotgun Sport.
5. Data Sharing
Breaking Studio Srl does not sell, rent, or trade Meta Horizon user data.
We do not share Meta Horizon user data with third parties except in the following limited cases:
- where necessary to provide Shotgun Sport’s core functionality through Meta platform services;
- where required to process user support, privacy, or data deletion requests;
- where required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or valid legal process;
- where necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, Breaking Studio Srl, Meta, or others.
6. Data Retention
We retain or process user data only for as long as necessary to provide Shotgun Sport’s functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or process user requests.
Data stored locally on the user’s Meta Quest device remains under the user’s control and may be removed by deleting local app data or uninstalling the app.
Data associated with Meta platform features, such as leaderboards, may be retained and managed through Meta’s platform services and APIs, subject to Meta’s own policies and technical limitations.
7. Data Deletion and User Rights
You may request deletion of data associated with your gameplay by contacting us at:

Depending on the type of data, you may also be able to delete or manage your data directly through your Meta Quest device or Meta account settings.
Local Data:
You can delete local save files, settings, and locally stored gameplay data by uninstalling the app or clearing the app data through your Meta Quest device storage settings.
Meta Account and Permissions:
You can manage or revoke the app’s access to your Meta Horizon profile and related permissions through your Meta account settings and Privacy Center.
Leaderboard Data:
If you wish to have your specific high score or leaderboard data removed, please contact us at info@breaking-studio.com.
To process the request, we may need to verify your Meta Horizon User ID or other account-related information made available through Meta platform tools. We will process deletion requests within the limits of Meta’s platform APIs and applicable law.
8. Children’s Privacy
Shotgun Sport is intended to comply with Meta’s age requirements for Meta Quest and Meta Horizon services.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the applicable age required by Meta or by the laws of the user’s jurisdiction.
If we become aware that we have processed personal data from a child in a way that is not permitted by applicable law or platform rules, we will take appropriate steps to delete or restrict such data.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the data we process in connection with Shotgun Sport.
Because Shotgun Sport primarily relies on Meta’s native platform services for account, leaderboard, entitlement verification, profile-related, and device-level functionality, security for those platform features is also subject to Meta’s security practices and policies.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Users
Breaking Studio Srl is located in Italy.
If you use Shotgun Sport from outside Italy or the European Economic Area, your data may be processed in accordance with applicable platform services, legal requirements, and Meta’s own data processing practices.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. Continued use of Shotgun Sport after changes are published means that you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
