ABOUT BREAKING STUDIO
The people behind the experience.
Breaking Studio is built by a multidisciplinary team bringing together art, programming, level design, sound, music and UI/UX.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER
The work doesn't happen in departments.
A game can be programmed correctly, beautifully rendered and perfectly scored — and still feel disconnected. We try to avoid that by giving every discipline the same destination.
01 — ONE DIRECTION
Different disciplines should solve the same problem.
Art, code, level design, sound, music and interface don't develop in isolation. Decisions are shared when they affect the experience as a whole.
02 — QUESTION FIRST
We ask why before deciding how.
Before adding a mechanic, visual element or technical solution, we ask what it contributes to the experience.
03 — ITERATE TOGETHER
Good ideas get better when disciplines meet early.
We prefer testing, discussing and refining ideas while they are still flexible instead of polishing disconnected pieces and trying to make them fit at the end.
BEHIND THE WORK
Experiences are built through iteration.

AS WE GROW
Some things shouldn't scale away.
01
CREATIVE OWNERSHIP
Strong direction, open contribution.
A clear direction doesn't mean ideas only come from one person. It means everyone understands what the project is trying to become.
02
QUALITY OVER VOLUME
We would rather make fewer things with a reason to exist.
Growth shouldn't mean filling a catalogue. Each project should strengthen the studio we're trying to build.
03
RESPECT
For the people experiencing the work — and the people making it.
Clear expectations, honest communication and respect for people's time matter inside the studio too.
Small enough for every discipline to matter.
In a focused team, decisions travel quickly. Art can affect level design. Sound can change timing. A technical constraint can become a creative idea. UI can reshape how an interaction is understood.
That proximity between disciplines is something we want to keep as Breaking Studio grows.
